Just a quickie to exorcise the demons of a too-early exit just now from SCOOP 30-L (Pot Limit Omaha H/L) over at PokerStars. This was the fourth SCOOP I've played in this series; cashed in two of my first three outings, so I'm still ahead. I'm just going to flush this result as quick as possible, forget what might have been in 30-L if Sham Luck wasn't so Sham Luck-y, and look to the future. Your priorities suck and not just because you ain't writing.
WTF you doing playing that hand to that kind of preflop raise? Mediocre at best and that's being kind. Then you go and compound your mistake with a half assed draw. With a paired board it's not a given your 4 out straight takes hi so basically you chased a lo draw. Wake up son, smell the toast burning and fold that crap.

Easy for you to say. You weren't there. Sick had a history of preflop weak steals, and pot odds and expected pot odds made this an easy call when someone else followed Sick in. Then it was a matter of go for this one or go home. Seemed like the right time to pursue. That's poker. I love railbirds; thanks for posting, just keep it cleanish all.
